Courts Built for Communities, Not Just Backyards

For more than 20 years we have built athletic surfaces across Southern Nevada and Arizona, and much of that work has never been in a backyard. It has been HOA amenities, apartment communities, resort grounds, school facilities, and public parks. Courts that open at seven in the morning and do not empty until the lights go off.

That changes what a court has to be. A community court is not a private court that happens to be bigger. It takes constant traffic, it answers to a board or a facilities budget, and it has to still look like an asset ten years on. So we start with the base. Get the base and drainage right and everything above it lasts. Get it wrong and no coating will save it, however good it looks on day one.

HOA and Community Associations

There is usually a board to convince and often a design-review committee. We are comfortable in that process. We prepare clean plans and renderings a committee can decide from, and answer questions in plain language.

Shared all-day use is the design constraint. A reinforced base engineered for desert soil keeps a busy court flat and true. UV-stable acrylic on top holds its color instead of chalking out. It is the gold standard for community work.

Pickleball, tennis, basketball, or a multi-sport layout covering several at once.

Multifamily and Apartment Communities

A court is a leasing tool as much as a recreation space. Prospective residents notice it on the tour, and current residents renew partly because of it. Amenities that get used keep people in place.

The practical question is footprint. Multifamily sites rarely have unlimited room, so we size the court to the parcel rather than pushing dimensions the space cannot carry. A well-proportioned pickleball court that fits the courtyard beats a compromised tennis court squeezed against a wall.

One team throughout. Design, Build, Play, and Maintain all sit with us.

Schools, Resorts, and Parks

Institutional courts carry requirements residential work does not. Schools need regulation dimensions and accurate striping, often for several sports on one surface. Parks need surfaces that survive public use with minimal upkeep. Resorts need a court that looks the part.

Underneath, the fundamentals are identical. Drainage and slope so a monsoon clears instead of standing. A base built for the soil on site.

We handle LED lighting, fencing, and windscreens too. Some of our Las Vegas courts have been in play for 30 years.

The Legendary Process for Commercial Projects

Every project runs the same four stages. On commercial work each carries a little more paperwork.
Design. We walk the site, confirm footprint and clearances, and produce the plans and visuals your board or facilities team needs to approve the work.

Build. Excavation, grading, drainage, and a properly engineered base, then surfacing and striping. We keep you posted as it moves, because a community amenity under construction is visible to everyone who lives or works there.

Play. We hand over a court that plays true from the day it opens.

Maintain. We stay on for resurfacing, recoating, and striping refreshes. Most of our commercial clients are people we have worked with for years. We are there for the life of your court.

On time and on budget is not a slogan here. On institutional projects a missed date usually means a missed season.

Surface Types for Commercial Use

There is no single best surface, only the one that fits how your court will be used and maintained. Tell us the hours per week and who is looking after it, and we will narrow it down with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you build courts for HOAs and community associations?

Yes. HOA and community association courts are a core part of what we do. We are comfortable presenting options to boards and design-review committees, we prepare clean plans and renderings for approval, and we build to the shared, all-day use a community amenity actually sees. From the first walkthrough to long-term resurfacing, we guide you through every step.

We can. We regularly prepare the layouts, surface and color options, and visuals that boards and architectural committees need to make a decision. We are used to answering committee questions in plain language and adjusting the plan so it fits both the space and the community’s standards.

We build for HOAs, multifamily and apartment communities, resorts, schools and universities, and parks and recreation departments. That includes pickleball, tennis, basketball, volleyball, hockey, and multi-sport courts, built to regulation dimensions and striping for the sports you run.

We start with the base. A properly engineered, reinforced concrete base is what lets a shared court survive years of daily play and desert soil movement. On top of that we use UV-stable acrylic coatings that hold their color and forgiving surfaces built for high traffic, so the amenity still looks and plays well for the long haul.

Yes. Maintain is the fourth stage of our process. We stay on as your long-term partner for resurfacing, recoating, and striping refreshes. We pride ourselves on our relationships with clients, and we are there for the life of your court.

It depends on how the court will be used, how much traffic it will see, and how your team plans to maintain it. We will walk you through acrylic, cushioned acrylic, modular tile, turf, and hardwood, then recommend the one that fits your community rather than the priciest option on the list.

We build throughout Southern Nevada, including Las Vegas and Henderson, and across Arizona, including the greater Phoenix area. Call us at 702-883-8386 to talk through your community’s project.
